Should I buy Maxwell House.. or Folger's?

Hard to decide. On the one hand, Maxwell House is
"good to the last drop". But Folger's is mountain
grown, and "that's the richest kind".

I'm currently well stocked on Maxwell House, since
Mike's Discount Foods had it at a very good price.

Many years ago I used Mr Dimaggio's drip coffee maker,
simply because my parents had evolved into that after
decades of using the stovetop percolater (the little
tin kettle with spout).

A few years ago, I restored the stovetop percolator
method with that same old tin kettle. The look and
sound of the percolating in the percolater glass is
excellent.

Part two:

Canned evaporated whole milk is the ideal creamer:

  best flavor,
  indefinitely long shelf-life,
  and nicely priced.

Mike's discount foods had a pallet-full of them for
a dollar a can -- half the price of Cub's house-brand.
I stocked up -- 192 cans, which is a two-year supply
(2 T per cup, four cups per day). I saved $192.
