Portland, Oreg.,
Oct., 14, 1937.

Dear Elsie,-

It is 10:00 o'clock and I just got home form the show, at the Yeager Theatre. The feature was "Night Must Fall". It turned out to be a double-murder picture, and was not so pleasant!
It started to rain last night sometime after midnight and we had several showers today. It is cloudy now but not raining. We have been predicted that more rain is coming with a south breeze. The lowest temperature we've had, was last night when it dropped to 69 degrees. I'll bet it's been colder than that more than once this fall back there! How about it, Darling?
Well Darling, tomorrow is Friday and the next day, pay-day. And again I am going to send you not less that $10, on Monday.
But I was up late for those meetings the last couple of nights and it's 10:15 P.M. now and I'm all tuckered out, so right now I'm going to bed and get caught up on some of my lost sleep. Good-nite my Darling till tomorrow.

               Yours Forever
                     Irvin
