My Dear Darling -
I certainly do hope that you are feeling a lot better now than you were last nite. I felt so bad when I got home last nite that I cried. It seems so long since you were here with me, and well. I cleaned up the front yard tonite and buried the grass & leaves. I still have a little wood left to be put in the shed before I can clean the back yard. It was so nice out today and when the neighbors saw me cleaning my yard they (Van Kirks & Buel Barnes) started cleaning their yards too. The folks where Chase used to live also got busy and cleaned & buried their yard waste. By the way, their name is Smith & they are leaving Friday for California. I did not know if you would feel like writing so I wrote to David. I also wrote Jack tonite. So this makes my third letter tonite. Well it's 12 midnite and I'm taking this mail to the depot before I go to bed so that you will get it Tues, so I better close, that I might get to bed pretty quick.

             Lots of Love from
             Your Hubby xx
                        Irvin
