Dear Darling -
I hope that you are showing much improvement by now. I have put your graduation picture on the piano, and as soon as Kay saw it, she got all excited and says 'There's Mommy'. She has been repeating it all the time.
The muffler on our car got so terribly noisy, that I took it over to Ben Wies' and had a new one put on. The muffler was $3.50, labor $2.00, and I got a good inner tube for $1.50.
I saw Joe Forester at North Nat. bank this A.M. and he said he would extend our 5.00 payments for 2 months and then our store account will be down to 60.00. He will then loan us the 60.00 in addition to what we owe the bank and we are to pay 10.00 monthly. By that time we will only have on 4.25 payment left on the aluminum. We really are coming out very good on these payments, I think. I have not charged any more gas and I have payed cash for the groceries up to now. But I am going to charge groceries from now till pay day. I paid Ben Weis for the muffler, inner tube and labor this morning which totaled $6.00. Your mother, Naomi, Maxine and I think my dad are the ones who are coming out there with me Sunday. Mrs Krause is getting a present for you and said she would send it out with me Sunday. I wrote Vernon & Dorothy last nite while I was at the wholesale house. I mailed it at midnight, so they should get it by Saturday. I haven't heard any more from David & Ella or Jack either yet. Donald, Kay and Duane are all feeling fine and they have a good time. Of course Donald & Kay play out in the back yard all the time now. Well it's time I was going to work so I will close for now.

I love you with all my
               Heart xxxx
                       Irvin
