Dear Love -
It's 5 min before midnite, so I am dropping you a few lines before I eat. I received your card today. When you tell me how sore yor tubes are, I take it that you mean the ones from your overies to your womb, or do you mean those which are draining your abcess. It seems to me that your abcess must certainly be drained by this time.
Mother & Maxine were in town today and of course Duane too. They stopped at our house while I was eating supper. Duane had on a new cap. Does he ever look like a real man. Mother also got him a couple new blue play suits. He sure is a sweet darling. It will sure be nice when you can see him again, in fact I am looking forward to where we can all be back together again pretty soon. Won't that be swell though?
I am getting our garden plowed Monday. I noticed today that those two little evergreen trees that I planted at the other end of the garden last fall have died. The garden is terribly dry. I plan to plow the whole garden again.
Sig Sannem has been working on a construction job at a school at Northome, Minn. He said it was completed this week. He does not know what he is going to do now.
I attended sales meeting tonight before I started work so I am behind with my orders. So I better close, eat, and get to work. I'll see you Sunday P.M. Lots of Love & many Kisses

                                    Irvin
