Dearest Irvin,
  I asked Oppegaard last nite when I could go home & he said either Sat. or Sun. I don't know if he meant it was up to us or he will decide. So you can come & get me Saturday afternoon, unless I call & let you know differently. I don't think I'm quite as strong as Dr. thinks I am. I could not walk by myself yet Wed. They had me walk a little way down the hall & was tired when I came back. I'm almost positive I can go Sat. He meant whichever day it was most convenient for you. So be sure & come Sat. unless I call. Love Elsie
