Hello Little Boy:  How you was?  I have been
a naughty girl once more in not writing to
you.  Well to tell the truth I got lots more
writing to do than I can tend to.  Last week
wrote 8 big fat letters and then had a lot
more to answer but they will have to wait a
while.  It's so hot now days that I nearly
melt, do you wonder?  Mrs Syverson is dead,
she died about two weeks ago.  So now they are
batching it.  Have not heard from Henry all
summer long but had a letter from Tilda a few
days ago.  Elmer had operation for 
appendicitis and is quite strong again, he is
going to run the meat wagon for Mr Abbot
this summer.  Be a good boy and drop me a line
