                                9 P.M.

My Dear Elsie,
I had to paint in the shack tonite and then I took a bath & I just finished that. I have got a watch from 2 to 5 in the morning so I'm going rite to bed. I was over to NOB this morning. Got back at 1:15 P.M. Didn't do anything this afternoon. I got a letter from you again today; also a slip that I have a package at the engineers post office but it was too late to pick it up tonite and anyway I couldn't go to my room tonite so just as well to leave it there till after work tomorrow. It's really cold out tonite and it's so damp. I have no business standing that 3 hr watch with this bad cold & I have a little sore throat. I could have turned in to sick bay and got out of the watch but I don't care to do that if I can get by.
Goodnite Darling and excuse my VERY short, short letter. I Love you dearly and

you get ALL my Hugs & Kisses
                      With Love From
                                Hubby
