Mom and Dad were very sweet on each other 
throughout the 1970s and 1980s.  There's no 
picture of them sitting/lying on the couch 
together watching television those years, 
but at least there exists a sketch of that 
very common scene.  In this sketch Mom's 
knees are drawn up - but Mom's feet were 
often resting on Dad's lap.  Dad would cradle
Mom's feet in his hands.
